1. Data We Collect
- Photos: Your skin selfie is stored locally on your device and may be sent to our servers for skin analysis when generating your routine. The photo is used solely to create your personalized skincare routine and is not stored permanently on our servers.
- Location: If you enable location services, we use your coordinates to fetch local UV, humidity, and air quality data. Location is not stored permanently.
- Skin Profile: Your quiz answers (skin type, goals, conditions) are stored locally on your device.
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (screens viewed, features used). This data cannot identify you personally.
- Feedback: When you submit feedback, we collect your device model, OS version, and app version to help us diagnose issues.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate personalized skincare routines

3. Third-Party Services
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics
- Weather APIs: Environmental data (UV, humidity, AQI) based on location
4. Data Retention
All personal data (photos, skin profile) is stored locally on your device. Photos sent to our servers for analysis are processed in real time and not retained. Deleting the app removes all local data. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
5. Your Rights
You may:
- Delete all your data from within the app using the "Delete All My Data" option in your Profile
- Delete your data by removing the app from your device
- Disable location services in your device settings
- Disable analytics tracking in your device settings
6. Children's Privacy
GlowUp is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
